No. You can use any local pebbles which are 1/8″ in size up to 2-1/2″ in size. Be sure to clean and dry the stones well!
Avoid decomposed granite or any stones that fracture easily.
For wheel chair compliance, use gravel which is 1/8″ up to 1/2″.
